MISSION STATEMENT

It is the desire of Park Avenue Therapies to provide quality Physical Therapy care to any and all persons requiring our services to recover from musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and orthopedic

conditions preventing optimum functions. Clients are encouraged to be active in every phase of rehabilitation from goal setting, treatment, and the development of self-care management programs.

Park Avenue Therapies is committed to providing a center for training and development of student Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants and supporting the continuing education for the practicing Physical Therapist. This commitment allows the development of specialized services to best meet the needs of our community. We believe the Physical Therapist's role is that of an educator and facilitator.

“The magic is not in the medicine, but in the vis medicatrix nature, the recuperative or self-corrective energy of nature. What the treatment does is to stimulate natural functions or to remove what hinders them.”

-C.S. Lewis 1940

We shall pursue our mission in a manner mindful of human dignity and the values and ethics of the medical community and the profession of which it is a part.
